“I got my start playing the cello in group classes at my local elementary school in Connecticut, and continued to participate in my public school system’s orchestral program right up until I graduated high school. I am so lucky that I happened to grow up in a place where arts programs thrived and continue to do so, but so many children in school today don’t have those same opportunities. What GetClassical is doing by going into schools to give young children access to music is not only admirable, it’s crucial. I look forward to being involved in any way I can, as it’s a mission I passionately believe in.”
