"Kids have the most pure reaction to the beauty of music. I fully support this amazing initiative and I'm honored to be part of it. Thank you Ilona for your enthusiasm!"

Inna Faliks

"GetClassical and its outreach initiative GetClassical In School is the perfect organisation for our time, blending an attentiveness to highest quality of music making with the spirit of sharing, authenticity and generosity. Great music is for everyone, it is meant to be shared, and the bond it creates can be a seed in a child's imagination. The more seeds we plant, the more lives will be altered for the better.
As a performing artist, I have seen this happen many times, and there is nothing more gratifying than opening a child's heart to music.
Thank you for GetClassical In School to continuing this vital mission."

Irene Abrigo
Violinist, Educator
"As an artist and teacher, I am deeply convinced of the social responsibility of art. The impact that musical and artistic education has on the development of the personality and of the critical spirit is enormous and precious, even if still too undervalued. I am very happy and honored to support the GetClassical project and contribute to Ilona’s mission to make the world a better place through music."

Irina Knaster - Aspect Chamber Music Series
Founder and Artistic Director of Aspect Chamber Music Series
"Aspect Chamber Music series is very excited about the ‘GetClassical In School’ initiative. The mission of GetClassical is important to us - bringing great performers to the classroom will help foster children’s interest in music; inviting students to the concerts of performers they have met personally may forge a special connection and inspire children’s love for classical music. We are enthusiastic to work on developing opportunities for collaboration with GetClassical in the fall."

Israel Chamber Project

"How wonderful Ilona, that you have initiated this endeavor. It is of utmost importance to bring musical values and beauty to our communities, to mankind in general.
Without music, without art there might actually not be any life. Music is our hope and giving it to others feels as an imperative outreach of kindheartedness. Thank you."

Itamar Zorman
Violinist
“In my opinion, live performances are by far the best way to expose new audiences to classical music. The crucial element for the success of such a venture is the quality of the performance, so the fact that GetClassical in School manages to bring high caliber musicians to perform for young audiences is what makes it so exciting. I will be happy to be part f it. Best of luck with all the upcoming Hello Ilona, happy new year! Ittai Shapira

"I would like to commend Ilona Oltuski for her important initiative of bringing music education, focusing on schools that do not have in their curriculum. By having "GetClassical In School" partner with schools over New York City, students can develop a sense of connection, imagination, and concentration rather than a sense of isolation. I am looking forward to seeing this develop!"

Ittay Goren
Pianist
“Bringing awareness and love of classical music to young people not only enriches their lives with meaning and beauty, but creates a future society made of alert, just and humane individuals. Therefore your project GetClassical In Schools deserves all the support needed. You certainly have mine."

Ivan Gusev
Pianist, Educator
"I am thrilled to join Ilona’s wonderful initiative, GetClassical In School. From my earliest times at the Moscow Conservatory and onward, I always enjoyed partaking in many of the educational outreach programs that provided children not only with great music, instructions on instrumental skills and repertoire, but with an appreciation of classical culture in general. It was always my strong conviction that creating an environment that fosters love for music, helps students to develop their personality positively and I always looked for ways to implement that. Together with my conservatory friends, we created a music festival for children in the outskirts of Moscow, bringing all the prestigious competition winners out to perform and share their talent with the kids beyond their performance; the only way to disseminate continued love for classical music is to make it a personal experience. Acknowledging this important ingredient, GetClassical In School is a unique opportunity for such artist collaborations that expand kids’ horizon and will inspire them for the future. I am happy to support GetClassical In School's efforts whenever possible."

Jessica Osborne
Pianist
Music will save the world - Pablo Casals
"Getting to perform classical music for kids who don't ordinarily have access to it is a golden opportunity for us artists. People who grow up without being exposed to classical music are far less likely to be drawn to it as they get older; classical music is a taste acquired through exposure, and unfortunately, it is not an art from that is readily made accessible or affordable to everyone. By demonstrating the capability of classical music to enrich our experience and expand the minds of young adults in the classroom, we are in turn sowing the seeds of classical music appreciation in a future generation of audiences. "

Jon Kimura Parker
Pianist, Artistic Director Honen International Piano Competition
