"More often than not, people who have decided to turn their passion for music into a profession regard the act of mentoring as a chase towards that elusive perfect performance. I, too, declare myself guilty of it. This is one of the reasons why I am so impressed and humbled by what GetClassical is trying to achieve and promote; if we, as performing artists, want to have an audience for tomorrow (and the day after!), instilling the love for music and a sense of respect towards this art form in our youth is a crucial task. I believe that GetClassical can get us much closer to bringing a child into a concert venue, all by his or her choice and motivated by genuine interest and curiosity, and that is why I consider a great privilege to be a part of it."
